This year, nostalgia has taken centerstage as the main driving force behind some of 2018’s biggest product revivals, brand collaborations, and advertisements.

Joining the bandwagon is PlayStation’s latest resurrection of one of the most iconic games from the 90s: Lemmings.

Originally released in 1991, Lemmings was a childhood staple for many around the world, serving as a stimulating puzzle platform where users had to help a group of anthropomorphized lemmings overcome various obstacles and make it to a designated exit.

For this 2018 version, PlayStation and app developer SAD PUPPY have joined forces to rebuild the game from the ground up.

It’s been redesigned in portrait orientation so you can conveniently play it using just one hand on mobile devices. In addition to offering thousands of levels, various ‘Lemmings’ characters from different tribes have been designed so players will never experience a dull moment discovering them along the way.

Lemmings is now free-to-download for iOS.
