You probably know of Maisie Williams through HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, which airs its final season eight this 14 April 2019.

What many people likely don’t know is that before Williams became a household name as an actress, the 21-year-old had big dreams of becoming a dancer.

In this recent TEDxManchester talk, Williams shares her story about how failed dance opportunities were blessings in disguise. These eventually led her to working on what has become one of the biggest television shows of all time.

She also speaks about her app ‘Daisie’, which was made specifically for creatives in partnership with co-founder Dom Santry.
