Actor, activist and artist Jim Carrey has dedicated a heartbreaking tribute to New Zealand following a mass shooting at two mosque last Friday.

In his artwork, Carrey creates a self-portrait that depicts him crying for the victims of the attack. His iris is illustrated as a globe, suggesting that he weeps for the world.

“My heart is with you, New Zealand, my tears for all of us,” he wrote in the drawing.

The Masjid Al Noor and Linwood Masjid mosques in New Zealand suffered a terrorist attack by an alleged white supremacist gunman on Friday, leaving at least 50 people dead, including a 14-year-old student, and 50 people wounded.
