While some iPhone users might already be well aware of this shortcut, it seems many Twitter users have only just discovered a neat iPhone cursor trick that saves you much inconvenience when editing text on the gadget.

Thanks to food blogger Krissy Brierre-Davis, who shared the tip to Twitter, more iPhone users now know that they can simply click and hold the spacebar on the iPhone keyboard to freely move the cursor around the screen conveniently.

The thread led to other Twitter users sharing additional shortcuts, such as the flashlight trick, while another explained a simpler way to highlight characters.

As Twitter user @MikeIsaac puts it, hopefully these timesaving tips will change your entire life.
