Cities all over the world turned their famous landmarks green in celebration of St Patrick’s Day on 17 March.

Ireland’s tourism board, Tourism Ireland, celebrated the event by sharing images of global icons illuminated in the hue through its social media accounts.

The Dancing House in Prague, Riverside Museum in Glasgow, the Great Wall Of China and the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club were among those that temporarily changed their colors for this special day.

The color green has become synonymous with the Irish holiday, and well as the Irish culture.
