‘Get Out’ Follow-Up ‘Us’ Releases Foreboding New Poster, Synopsis Revealed1 min read

Get Out , the critically acclaimed 2017 mystery thriller by Jordan Peele is getting a follow-up by way of Us, starring Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker.

The latest poster, shown below, describes it as “a new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award winner Jordan Peele.”

Though details about the plot have been tightly guarded, /Film revealed that according to sources familiar with the matter, the synopsis follows a mother (played by Nyong’o of Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (played by Duke from Black Panther), who take their children to a beach house expecting a relaxing holiday spent unwinding and relaxing with friends (including Moss of The Handmaid’s Tale).

As night descends, however, their peace and tranquility morphs into chaos and tension when shocking visitors arrive unwelcome.

According to the director, the trailer for Us is set to drop soon, so keep your eyes peeled. The movie is scheduled for a 15 March 2019 release.
