Talented actor Christian Bale has channeled many roles on film, but perhaps one of his most famous would be that of the ‘Caped Crusader’ aka ‘Batman’.
During his red carpet interview with Variety for the premiere of Vice, in which Bale becomes unrecognizable as ex-Vice President Dick Cheney, the actor shed light on an interesting encounter he had had with the current US President.
When asked who he thought should play Trump in a movie, Bale doesn’t provide a direct answer. Instead, he recounts the occasion when he met the leader while filming Batman in Trump Tower.
“He’s a tall gentleman. I met him one time when filming on Batman in Trump Tower and he said, ‘Come on up to the office.’ I think he thought I was ‘Bruce Wayne’, because I was dressed as ‘Bruce Wayne’. So he talked to me like I was ‘Bruce Wayne’ and I just went along with it, really.”
“It was quite entertaining,” added Bale, who starred as the superhero in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.
