Thanks to a tweet from tipster Ice universe (via BGR), a trio of clear cases have leaked today, revealing information about the camera placement on each model. The Samsung Galaxy S10 (6.1-inch) case matches renders we’ve seen of the phone‘s alleged triple-camera setup. Another case leaked was for the Huawei P30. The P20 had a vertically mounted dual camera setup with a flash directly underneath. The P30’s rear design looks the same except with a third camera thrown in.
Both Universal ice and Slashleaks have leaked images of cases for the Huawei P30 Pro. The pictures from the former and the renders from the latter match up (see images at the top of the article and in the slideshow below). They reveal that the phone will have a vertically mounted triple camera setup on back, with a huge dual flash right alongside it. The P20 Pro, which also featured a triple camera setup, had a vertically mounted dual camera module with another lens underneath it, and a smaller flash underneath the third camera.
If this leak is legit, the camera and flash design is not only different than what Huawei used on the P20 Pro, it also is much different than how it mounted the three cameras and flash unit on the Mate 20 Pro. The latter had the three lenses and flash encased in a square-like module, but with rounded corners.
