Liz Landers Joins ‘PBS News Hour’ As White House Correspondent

Liz Landers is joining PBS News Hour as White House correspondent, starting on September 15.

Landers has served as national security correspondent for Scripps News since 2024. Before that, she was the chief political correspondent for Vice News, for which she won Emmy and Webby awards, and she interviewed figures including Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Steve Bannon. She also has worked as a television and radio reporter for ABC News and earlier in her career as a producer and reporter for CNN.

Sara Just, senior executive producer of News Hour and senior vice president of WETA, said in a statement, “Liz’s experience in both daily news coverage and long form features are an ideal fit for our ambitious, multi-platform newsroom.”

Landers said, “I am thrilled to join the team of dedicated and highly respected journalists at PBS News Hour. At this critical time in our nation’s history, I look forward to covering the White House and this administration for public broadcasting’s iconic nightly new program.”
